BrassCraft Awards the Company’s Prestigious 2015 Zell Award to Jonathan Banana

NOVI, MI – BrassCraft Manufacturing announced it has awarded the 2015 Robert M. Zell Award to Jonathan Banana, Quality Control Manager at its Corona, Calif. plant. BrassCraft Manufacturing, the leading manufacturer of plumbing and flow control products, created the award in honor of the company founder, Robert M. Zell, to recognize employees who epitomize and embrace Mr. Zell’s vision – to deliver the highest quality and innovative products to our customers.
“This award is about our employees. It’s about their passion not only for the company but also for their work, fellow employees and customers,” said Tom Carey, Vice President, Sales. “Again this year we had many worthy candidates nominated. It is never an easy decision for the selection committee. In the end, selecting Jonathon was a celebrated decision.”
BrassCraft recognized Jonathan for his many contributions to the organization and for the professional qualities that he represents every day – determination, steadfastness and being a proactive employee who meets challenges head on. Jonathan also stepped up during the last 18 months and led the Corona facility, while connecting with Novi efforts, to obtain their quality management certification.
This year’s runner-up for the Zell award went to Krisztina Wilson, Product Manage, BrassCraft Novi. Honorable mentions went to the following candidates: Rogelio Paneda, BrassCraft Swedesboro; Dave Newman, BrassCraft Brownstown; Anderson Liao, BrassCraft Asia.
